About

Hello!

My name is Pam and I'm the owner, designer, and maker at PBJ Quilt Sandwiches! I love to make one-of-a-kind quilts, baby items, towels, pushpins, magnets, and gifts!
I'm a speech-language pathologist by day and sewing enthusiast by night. I enjoy working with new and vintage fabrics, unique color combinations, and fun patterns.

A few years back, as I was going thru my grandmother's things, I stumbled upon her old Singer Touch & Sew.  I had never sewn anything before and didn't have a desire to learn now, so I gave the old Singer to a neighbor that could use it for her home projects.  A year later, I heard a knock on the door, and it was my neighbor returning the sewing machine.  She said she had never used it and felt guilty giving it away or throwing it out, so she thought she should return it.  At that moment, my mother thought it was a sign from my grandmother that I needed to learn to sew like she did in her younger days.  I have a friend who is an avid quilter that I had come down and give me a quick Quilting 101 lesson and I was HOOKED AT FIRST STITCH!  I've now traded in my Touch & Sew and upgraded to a Juki F600.  Over 100 quilts later, I still enjoy all the aspects of sewing and quilting and have acquired a stash of fabric that is now taking up a good portion of my basement!!!

Be sure to stop by my Etsy shop often to see what’s new in stock!

Thanks for stopping by!
